Philosophy of Cross-Cultural Adventures’ Rules
The rules and regulations adopted by Cross-Cultural Adventures’ Teams are designed to ensure the safety and well being of each team member. We expect full cooperation from members (and parents, if applicable) in any disciplinary decisions made. Cross-Cultural Adventure reserves the right to send any team member home that shows rebellion, disrespect to a leader, or blatant disregard for the stated rules and regulations.
Upon becoming a member of Cross-Cultural Adventures’ Teams, you are expected to maintain the highest standard of integrity, honesty, and morality. It is our belief that the members of the Cross-Cultural Adventure Projects or Trips have reached a level of maturity and are responsible in their behavior.
Key points:
- The purpose of regulations and rules:
- True Positive Character - our rules and regulations are based off of principles for living the life of true positive character qualities.
- Safety - is #1 priority at all times, we have established rules as guidelines to ensure safety for all of our participants.
- Cultural Exchange and Character Training - can only happen if we are operating in unity for the same goal, these rules and regulations help us stay on track with this goal for greater good.
- Cultural sensitivity – is vital, so we are not offensive to those whom we wish to teach, train, and leave a positive cultural impression.
- Disciplined lifestyle
- Freedom – a disciplined lifestyle cultivates freedom
- Growth – with self discipline comes growth, and is great opportunity to grow in those areas we know we should.
- Potential – We can better see our potential within a disciplined lifestyle, but also discipline creates more opportunity for our potential to take form and become something great in our lives, communities, and families.
